All parsing of uploaded files is ephemeral and discarded post-session.

Authentication Key: A hashed version of your email from Google OAuth (no raw emails stored).
Transactions and Holdings: Dates, amounts, asset types, and calculated metrics (e.g., net worth trends) stored in our secure database. No account names, broker details, or other PII.
Usage Data: Temporary processing of uploaded files (e.g., PDFs/CSVs) - deleted immediately after parsing.
Limits and Quotas: Tracked anonymously for freemium enforcement.

We do not track IP addresses, locations, or any behavioral data beyond what's needed for core features.

2. How We Use Your Data

Core Functionality: To calculate net worth, portfolio performance, dividends, and visuals (e.g., charts and graphs).
Insights (Optional): If enabled, for fallback parsing or simulations - processed ephemerally.
Storage: All persistent data is stored securely and sharded by user hash for scalability. No sharing with third parties.

3. Data Security

Encryption: Data in transit via HTTPS; at rest with our cloud provider's security.
Authentication: Secure sessions using signed tokens.
Abuse Prevention: Rate-limits and pre-parse checks for file sizes and limits.

4. Your Rights and Controls

You have full control:

Access/Export: Download your data via dashboard exports.
Deletion: Delete all your data at any time. This removes your hashed key and associated records from our database.

We comply with applicable laws, though as a privacy-first app, we minimize data to begin with.
